Anna si sveglia da un incidente senza alcun ricordo di chi sia o della famiglia che ha lasciato alle spalle. Costretta a ricostruire la sua esistenza e scoprire perché porta un bambino in grembo, viene inculcata di informazioni da gentili ma opprimenti sconosciuti, tra cui un sedicente marito. Anna wakes up from an accident with no memory of who she is or the family she left behind. Forced to reconstruct her existence and find out why she is carrying a baby, she is inculcated with information by kind but oppressive strangers, including a self-styled husband. However, an anguished disquiet torments her, prompting her to question everything. When two disfigured men arrive on the island and a violent argument breaks out, she discovers that the human race is close to extinction. She then decides to flee from these strangers to discover her true identity.
