Il mondo al di fuori della foresta è stato devastato da una pandemia letale. Nei suoi 8 anni di vita, Marko non ne è mai uscito e l’unica persona che conosce è il padre paranoico e protettivo. La cosa più preziosa che possiede è un libro illustrato nel quale crede di poter trovare risposte a tutto. La sua vita cambia improvvisamente quando conosce Miko, un ragazzo ingenuo affetto dalla sindrome di Down. Rimasti soli a difendersi dalle orde degli Infetti, intraprendono un viaggio alla ricerca della madre di Marko. Ma oltre la foresta, il loro posto sicuro, c’è un mondo in frantumi avvolto nel silenzio, pieno di pericoli e, soprattutto, morte.

The world outside the forest has been ravaged by a deadly pandemic. The forest is all what eight-year-old Marko has known and the only person he knows is his paranoid, protective Father. His most precious possession is his Picture Book where he believes he can find the answers to everything. His life suddenly changes when he discovers Miko, an innocent boy with Down’s Syndrome. When the boys are left alone to fend for themselves against the hordes of the Infected, the duo go on a journey to find Marko’s mother. But outside the safety of the forest is a shattered world shrouded in silence full of danger and death.
