Korben Dallas è un ufficiale militare in pensione che adesso guida un taxi. Si unisce a un perfetto essere supremo di nome Leeloo per salvare il mondo da una presenza malefica che entra nella galassia ogni 5.000 anni. Per farlo hanno bisogno di localizzare quattro pietre antiche che rappresentano i quattro elementi base: terra, aria, fuoco e acqua. Insieme dovranno superare molti ostacoli, fra cui l’antico linguaggio e le antiche tradizioni di Milla, oltre al malvagio Zorg e i suoi mercenari, per individuare le pietre e collocarle attorno al Quinto Elemento.
Based in the future, Korben Dallas is a retired military officer who now drives a cab. He teams up with a perfect, supreme being named Leeloo to save the world from an evil presence that enters the galaxy every 5.000 years. To do so, they need to locate four ancient stones representing the four basic elements of earth, air, fire, and water. They must overcome many obstacles including Milla’s ancient language and customs, as well as the evil Zorg and his mercenaries, to locate the stones and position them around the Fifth Element.
