Ederlezi Rising: how to promote a film through production design
Speaker: Lazar Bodroza (director)
Ederlezi Rising, selected at the Trieste Science+Fiction Festival, is a low budget Serbian science fiction film which bets everything on a few precise artistic choices: a limited location (a space ship traveling into space), only two actors (among them the porn star Stoya), a retro futuristic view where a triumphant Communism conquers Alpha Centauri. This aesthetics has deeply characterized the film’s promotion strategy (including the crowdfunding campaign which contributed to the film’s realization), which will be the main topic of analysis of this meeting
