The Man with the Magic Box

In un futuro distopico non troppo lontano, Adam scappa dalla zona più povera di Varsavia verso la Nuova Città. Con l’aiuto di una società segreta, trova un appartamento in un vecchio edificio e un lavoro come addetto alle pulizie. Si innamora di Goria, un’affascinante impiegata dell’Ufficio Risorse Umane, che però non lo prende sul serio. Nell’appartamento Adam trova una radio degli anni ’50 che trasmette musica del passato. Ma la radio emana anche delle onde theta che consentono di viaggiare nel tempo. Sperimentandone il funzionamento, Adam si ritrova prigioniero nel passato. Quando non si presenta al lavoro, Goria – capendo di aver perso il vero amore – comincia a cercarlo nel passato.

In a not so distant dystopian future Adam escapes from poor part of Warsaw to the New City. With a help of a secret society Adam gets a flat in an old building and finds a job as a cleaner. He falls in love with Goria, a beautiful employee in the HR department, but she doesn’t treat him seriously. In his flat Adam finds a radio from the 1950s that broadcasts the beautiful music from the past. The radio also emits the Theta waves that facilitate time travel. Adam starts to experiment with the Theta waves and he gets stuck in the past. When he doesn’t show up for work Goria – realizing that she has lost true love – starts to look for him in the past.
