St. Niklas, un vescovo caduto in disgrazia, viaggia nel medioevo con la sua banda di rapinatori e ladri attraverso la campagna, stuprando, saccheggiando e uccidendo. Quando gli abitanti dei villaggi decidono di farsi giustizia da soli e uccidono il vescovo assetato di sangue e suoi scagnozzi, Niklas giura vendetta. Ora, ogni volta che c’è la luna piena il 5 dicembre, la data in cui morto – cosa che in media accade ogni 36 anni – St. Niklas e i suoi aiutanti risuscitano e si vendicano in modo orribile.

Ha ricevuto diversi premi cinematografici nazionali ed internazionali, in particolare il Grand Prix al Festival di Avoriaz (Francia). Il suo ultimo film Saint è stato un enorme successo nei Paesi Bassi.
St. Niklas, a bishop fallen from grace, travels in the middle ages with his gang of robbers and thieves through the countryside, raping, plundering and killing. When villagers take the law into their own hands and murder the bloodthirsty bishop and his thugs, Niklas vows revenge. Now every time there is a full moon on December 5th, the date he died, something that on average takes place every 36 years, St. Niklas and his helpers rise from the dead and take revenge in a horrible way.
Dick Maas is writer/director/producer of movies, television series, short films and music video’s. He received several national and international film awards, notably the Grand Prix at the Festival of Avoriaz (France). His latest movie Saint was a huge succes in the Netherlands.
