Restore Point

Praga 2041. Ogni cittadino ha il diritto costituzionale di vivere una vita intera. In caso di morte innaturale, la persona viene riportata in vita attraverso l’innovativa tecnologia del “Restore Point”, che funziona solo se viene creato un backup della memoria cerebrale ogni 48 ore. L’omicidio non è contemplato. Ma la detective Emma Trochinowska viene incaricata di un terribile caso di omicidio plurimo dopo che il team di ripristino è riuscito a riportare in vita solo una delle due vittime.
Il film d’esordio del regista Robert Hloz è un neo Blade Runner sull’onda del genere “futuro socialismo” che sta imperversando nel cinema ceco contemporaneo.
