We are in Galicia, Spain at the start of the 20th century. Benito is a demented schizophrenic who makes his living ferrying goods to and from the surrounding villages. During the full moon, he experiences an undeniable urge to commit sexual assaults, which causes his fellow villagers to think, in their ignorance, that he is a werewolf.
