Nel memorabile 1907, il dott. Plonk, eminente scienziato ed inventore, calcola che il mondo finirà esattamente tra 101 anni a meno che non si faccia subito qualcosa. Come accade a tanti visionari negli anni, Plonk è ridicolizzato per le sue convinzioni, da politici, burocrati e anche dal suo fedele servitore Paulus. Essendo un pensatore ai margini, Plonk inventa una macchina del tempo e si mette in viaggio per collezionare prove necessarie dal futuro stesso che sta svanendo.

As befalls visionaries through the ages, Plonk is ridiculed for his beliefs, by politicians, by bureaucrats, even by his faithful manservant Paulus. Being the lateral thinker that he is, Plonk invents a time machine and sets out to collect the necessary proof from the very future that’s ending.
