Un paese sperduto fra le montagne. Una comunità affetta da una misteriosa malattia. Morti improvvise tra gli abitanti del villaggio. Gorecki, capo dei malati, si lega misteriosamente a Giacomo, un bambino “sano”, vedendo in lui una possibile redenzione e salvezza. Il rapimento del piccolo scatenerà la terribile reazione degli abitanti, determinati a rispondere in modo inesorabile e definitivo alle angherie cui sono sottoposti da anni. Ma a volte il desiderio di vendetta è così forte da sopravvivere anche alla morte.
A remote village in the mountains. A community affected by a mysterious illness. Sudden death among the inhabitants of the town. Gorecki, chief of the sick people, strangely gets attached to Giacomo, a “healthy” boy, as he sees in him a chance for redemption and salvation. Giacomo’s kidnapping will then stir up the furious reaction of the inhabitants, who are determined to respond in an inexorable and ultimate way to the vexations and mistreats they have been suffering for a long while. However, sometimes the desire for revenge is so strong to survive even death and time.
