Special event for Unesco week

Flow: for Love of Water is the result of an investigation carried out by journalist Irena Salina, about that which experts are calling the most important political and environmental problem of the 21st century: the global water crisis. Salina creates a cause against the growing privatisation of the already scarce reserve of drinking water with an immovable focus on politics, pollution, human rights and the (worrying) emergence of a worldwide water cartel. Interviews with scientists and activists, throwing light on the growing and extremely serious crisis, on both a local and global scale. Furthermore, the film indicates many of the businesses and govenmental authorities behind the theft of water, posing a question at the beginning: can water be considered someone’s property?
