Il giovane Yata viene dato per disperso insieme alla sua imbarcazione. Suo fratello Ryota non è convinto che sia morto così e, insieme a due amici, ruba una barca e si dirige sul luogo della scomparsa. Durante la navigazione però si scatena una tempesta e dalle acque emerge un enorme aragosta mutante che li fa naufragare sull’isola di Letchi. Qui il gruppo dovrà difendersi dai Red Bamboo, la milizia militare che domina l’isola e che tiene prigionieri gli indigeni. Godzilla aiuterà Yata e Ryota a fuggire e sconfiggerà il mostro Ebirah.
Young Yata is lost at sea with his vessel. His brother Ryota isn’t convinced that he is dead, so he steals a boat with two friends and takes it to the place of the disappearance. During the trip however, a massive storm appears and a huge lobster emerges from the water and wrecks their ship on the island of Letchi. Here the group must defend themselves against the Red Bamboo, the military that dominates the island and keeps the indigenous people captive. Godzilla will help Yata and Ryota to escape and defeat the monster Ebirah.
