Un gruppo di personaggi cosmopoliti si trova a viaggiare nel mitico Transiberiano Express. Durante il viaggio, però, resuscita ll cadavere di uno strano essere congelato che assassina i passeggeri per impadronirsi dei loro corpi. Un monaco, davanti alle perplessità di due studiosi inglesi, Alexander Saxtoy ed il dott. Wells, sostiene che il mostro altri non che il diavolo in persona.
