Non aprite quella porta

Il 18 agosto 1973 un furgoncino Volkswagen sta attraversando le polverose strade del Texas meridionale con a bordo cinque ragazzi: Sally, il fratello invalido Franklin, Pam, Kirk e Jerry. Il gruppo è diretto alla casa dei nonni di Sally per trascorrervi il weekend. Il loro viaggio è turbato però da oscuri presagi: il cimitero locale è stato dissacrato, strane “macchie solari” aumentano la temperatura e uno squilibrato a cui danno un passaggio si ferisce volontariamente a una mano. Dopo aver finito la benzina, Pam e Kirk si avvicinano a una casa isolata per chiedere aiuto ma si trovano faccia a faccia con un gigante armato di motosega che indossa una maschera di pelle umana. L’incubo è solo all’inizio.

On August 18th, 1973, a Volkswagen van is travelling across the dusty south Texas roads. On board, five teenagers: Sally, her paraplegic brother Franklin, Pam, Kirk and Jerry. They are headed to Sally’s grandparents’ house for the weekend. Their journey is punctuated by dark omens: the local graveyard has been vandalised, strange “sun spots” are causing the temperature to sore and a deranged hitchhiker deliberately cuts his hand. After running out of gas, Pam and Kirk find an isolated house and go in asking for help, but they are faced by a giant man with a chainsaw wearing a mask made of human skin. The nightmare is just beginning.
