Tommy Wirkola, regista di Hansel & Gretel – Cacciatori di streghe e Dead Snow fa il suo spassoso debutto nell’animazione con un musical osé sull’origine della vita. Spermageddon segue due linee narrative: la nascente storia d’amore tra due goffi teenagers, Jens e Lisa, fino al primo rapporto sessuale e la burrascosa missione di Simen e i suoi amici per raggiungere la meta dorata, l’ovulo. Un po’ road movie, un po’ avventura epica, Wirkola paragona la sua sessostravaganza a Il signore degli anelli. Ma invece di orchi ed elfi, i nostri vergini eroi combattono contro creme spermicide e batteri troll.

Tommy Wirkola, director of Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters and Dead Snow makes his hilarious animation debut with a raunchy musical about the beginning of life. Spermageddon follows two narrative threads — the emerging love story between awkward teens, Jens and Lisa, who are having sex for the first time; and the eventful quest of Simon the Semen and his friends to reach the golden goal, the Egg. Both a road movie and an epic adventure, Wirkola likens his sextravaganza to Lord Of The Rings. But instead of Orcs and elves, our virgin heroes battle with sperm-killing creams and e.Coli trolls.
