Nel primo, il giocatore ricostruisce archeologicamente la storia intellettuale a fantascientifica che ha portato alla propria nascita; nel secondo, si interroga quella storia dal punto di vista di una società robotica messa in crisi dai propri rapporti con l’umanità e con la natura. In questo intervento, esploreremo i modi in cui i giochi Talos interagiscono con i temi storici attraverso le peculiarità dei videogame.

Both Talos Principle games are explicitly concerned with the past. The first game sees you archaeologically reconstructing the intellectual and science fictional history that led to your birth; the second interrogates that history from the point of view of a robotic society troubled by its relationship to humanity and nature. In this talk we will explore the ways in which the Talos games interact with historical themes through the peculiarities of the videogame medium.
