Vesper

In un futuro distopico, dopo il collasso dell’ecosistema terrestre, la tredicenne Vesper deve usare tutte le sue risorse per sopravvivere, assieme al padre malato Darius, tra i resti decadenti di un mondo distrutto. Quando Vesper trova la misteriosa Camelia, sola e sperduta dopo un incidente col suo jet, decide di aiutarla a trovare il suo compagno se la condurrà alla Cittadella, il centro nevralgico degli oligarchi che regnano sfruttando la genetica. Trovatasi in questa pericolosa avventura, Vesper dovrà fare affidamento sulla sua arguzia e le sue abilità di hacker biologico per schiudere la porta verso un futuro alternativo.

Set in a dystopian future after the collapse of the Earth’s ecosystem, 13-year-old Vesper must use her survival skills to subsist in the decaying remnants of the collapsed world with her ailing father, Darius. When Vesper finds a mysterious woman, Camellia, alone and disoriented after a jet crash, she agrees to help find her missing companion in exchange for being taken to the Citadel — the dark central hub where oligarchs use genetic technologies to rule. Now forced into a dangerous adventure, Vesper must rely on her wits and bio-hacking abilities to unlock the key to creating an alternate future.
