Il film è basato sugli studi del saggista svizzero Erich von Däniken che, nel 1969, aveva pubblicato il libro “Gli extraterrestri torneranno?”, il quale teorizzava che la Terra sarebbe stata realmente visitata in passato da extraterrestri; il film descrive una serie di casistiche, racconti, oggetti e manufatti quantomai strani che ancora oggi si possono trovare sulla terra.
The film is based on the studies of the Swiss writer Erich von Däniken who in 1969 published the book “Will the Aliens Return?”, theorizing the fact that in reality the Earth was visited by aliens in the past, reporting a series of records, stories, objects and strange artefacts that can still be found on Earth today.
